The King Room
The King Room is named for the innkeepers who operated the Smyser-Bair House Bed and Breakfast from the late 1980s to the early 2000s. The room truly is fit for a king: a huge walk-in closet, and private bathroom with an extra-large shower that Smyser Henry Bair (son of Robert and Alma Bair) designed himself with multiple jets and showerheads make this room stand apart. The floral wallpaper is a replica of that in a Victorian mansion in Dearborn Village enjoyed by the Kings during their travels. The room offers access to the second-floor balcony and the staircase descends directly into the kitchen. Situated at the back of the home, it is also the most secluded room of the inn.
