The Courtyard and Mural

On the back wall of the house, in the brick courtyard, is a beautiful mural.  York is famous for its many murals throughout the city.  This is one of the most beautiful – depicting a stable scene right next to where the original stable once stood.  On the adjoining wall you can see the joint of the old stable roof.  This mural continues the tradition of murals in the city of York, our nation’s first capitol.
